U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commissions

Hi, I’m Shuya. I’m a data science professional, currently volunteering as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Kashmir World. I help in developing deep learning neural networks for image recognition and utilize a real-time object detection to determine sea turtle tracks on images/videos. Before being a volunteer, I was with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission as an investigator co-op/data analyst. My job was to conduct advanced analyses of intricate large data sets to identify specific trading patterns that may point to possible illegal practices.

Although I am quite new to this field, I can say with confidence that I have a robust experience in machine learning and creating statistical models. Moreover, I have a solid background in data mining and cloud computing, which makes me passionate in making use of algorithms for predicting future trends and applying data visualization for communicating results. I also understand the highs and lows facing aspiring data scientists. I’ve been in their position before and I know how challenging it can be to transition into this field. That being said, I’d like to assist you in developing your data science capability, which should help you break into this sector.
