Hey there! I’m a data scientist from Portugal, working for a global organization that provides sustainable energy solutions for more than 2 years now. I’m moonlighting as a university instructor, teaching data mining and machine learning, as well as a research scientist working on time series classification. I have always enjoyed learning new things, which encouraged me to complete my Ph.D. in 2016. I have also authored several journals and more than a dozen conference papers on subjects like data mining and analysis, machine learning, and AI, just to name a few.

My core areas of expertise include data collection and management, data mining, machine learning, deep learning, big data, cloud computing, project management, statistical inference, and object-oriented programming. As I have always been driven by new challenges and a desire to engage in new endeavors, I find being a mentor to be a perfect avenue to help myself and others grow. So, if you are venturing into data science, machine learning, and deep learning, I can provide the support you need to get you on that path and help you acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve success.
