OdealHi and welcome to my profile! I’m Hincal, and I’m a data scientist whose areas of specialisation include data analysis, data mining, programming, machine learning, deep learning, predictive statistical modelling, neural networks, and analytical reporting. Being a data scientist has given me the opportunity to work with a number of leading organisations, including Odeal, Cerebro, Milliyet Emlak, Vodafone, Turk Telekom and Sekerbank. My exposure to these high-growth organisations enabled me to be involved in a number of high-impact projects and at the same time paved the way for me to become proficient in Python, SPSS, SAS Enterprise, R, Scala, Teradata, PL/SQL, SAP, Oracle, Hadoop and a whole suite of machine learning tools and techniques.
I have previous experience in teaching data science, data analysis and predictive modelling (using R) to students around the world through SpringBoard. I appreciate the personal satisfaction that such experience brings, not to mention the opportunity it affords me to develop myself. Because of this, I see mentoring as another way to drive my professional growth, all while helping others achieve their career goals.
