About this Session

There are so many mistakes young developers do in their career strategies that I probably will need to write an article on it. An exceptional graduate (who can have a promising future) said that 'at first he only needs to land a job, regardless of what the nature of the job is, or which company it is'. Being a senior dev, I know what he is going through. He is nervous of whether he will even get a job or not, which is fair. But here's how it can also be one of the biggest mistakes of his career. 1. If he lands a job but in the skill set which is not his preferred, he will underperform. 2. If he lands a job, then his focus will change from 'better career' to 'working hard to complete the probationary period to become permanent'. 3. And ultimately could end up with much lower pays than his peers. 4. And losing self-confidence and thinking that he is not good enough. I can count and count but the list goes on. And this is why, a perfect strategy needs to be there at all times and be followed as well. And I would love to help you in this regard!
